Another successful Judge Pleasure Ride is in the books!

By all accounts the JPR at Camp Highroad was a tremendous success. From the unbeatable weather to the safe completion of the course ridden by 86 riders and horses.  Cheers to them and a huge thank you to our hard working volunteers, the organizing committee, our generous sponsors, and Camp High Road for all playing a part in this fun day.

We look forward to next year and hope to see everyone again in 2022!

Thank you to the generous sponsors of our 2021 JPR at Camp Highroad!

Thank you Camp Highroad for being a great host location!

The 2021 JPR is July 10!

This JPR  is a friendly, trail ride competition that is approximately 6 miles over shady terrain which may include pastures, streams, woods and a small section of gravel road.  While you ride the trail, there will be 10 judged obstacles along the way.  Horses and riders will be judged on their ability to safely and efficiently negotiate the various obstacles as instructed.  While this is not a timed event, there will be a time limit on each obstacle to prevent delays.   The objective for this event is for every participant to have fun!  After all…this is a pleasure ride.  Our goal is for everyone to enjoy the trail ride.  Please note that this event is part of the Crystal Crown Series.   The results will be counted towards Crystal Crown Series year-end awards.

We are in the planning stages of TSRC’s leg of 2021 Crystal Crown Judged Pleasure Ride Series.  Event volunteers will be able to ride the course free of charge on Sunday July 11th.  Currently, we are in need of coordinators for  PUBLICITY and TRAIL DESIGN.  These committees need to get active now.  We would like to get at least two people to work on each of these. So grab a friend, join the fun, and lend a hand! We have resources to support you if you haven’t done this before. This is an “all-hands on deck” effort and a fun opportunity to meet fellow members and equestrians.

Print out Flyer and share with friends!
