Intro Garrocha – This lesson will focus on the
theory of introducing your horse to the
Garrocha Pole. Gives great confidence! We
will start on the ground in rope halters, then
conclude the lesson mounted with the pole for
horses that are ready (don’t worry, we get
them ready). This will be a safe introduction
and conducted at the walk focused on the
basics of garrocha carries and movements. This
is a great prep for the John Saint Ryan Clinic in
October! Ideal horses would be well broke,
reasonable brains – do not have to be dead
quiet; not well suited for problem
horses. (Private/smaller lessons available in
those cases).
